The Geneva Jets Australian Football Club is the first Australian Football Club to be established in the city and canton of Geneva (Switzerland). In 2019, the club will join the Basel Dragons and Winterthur Lions in the inaugural AFL Switzerland home and away season.
To meet the initial costs of establishing a new football club, Geneva Jets AFC is seeking support from the community in the form of an exclusive Founding Donor programme. Assistance is being sought from individuals, families and businesses.
Funds raised from Founding Donations will be used to meet the initial costs associated with developing the club and purchasing equipment such as footballs, drink bottles, first aid kits, gear bags, spare uniforms, training bibs and markers, goal posts, line marking materials and so on.
As a non-profit association inaugurated under Article 60 of the Swiss Civil Code, all funds raised will be invested in the development of the club. Full details of club income and expenditure will be audited and made available to founding donors and club members.
The club proposes four tiers of founding donations:
- PLATINUM – CHF 500 or more
- GOLD – CHF 200
- SILVER – CHF 100
- BRONZE – CHF 50
HONOUR BOARD
Each contributor will be honoured as a Founding Donor of the Geneva Jets AFC and recognised in perpetuity with their name and tier on the Honour Board on the club website (and any future clubhouse wall).

BUSINESS SPONSORS
Any business that contributes to the PLATINUM or GOLD level will have their business name listed in perpetuity and, during the 2019 season, will be listed as an official club sponsor with prominent advertising on club newsletters and the website.
NOTE
This exclusive opportunity will be limited to the first season of the club (2019) and is in addition to the Full Membership (playing and voting rights) and Associate Membership (non-voting) categories.
A Founding Donation alone does not grant playing or voting rights.
